About the Position
This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills. As an Income Maintenance Caseworker II, you will be responsible for determining initial eligibility for various income maintenance programs, including Medicaid, Refugee Assistance, and Low Income Subsidy.
Responsibilities:
- Determining initial eligibility for income maintenance programs
- Interviewing clients to obtain required information
- Completing initial applications and verifying information
- Determining program requirements and options for clients
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field, Business or Communication; or 2-year associate degree from a community college; or 1 year experience as a caseworker with direct client contact
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with applicants/clients and other agencies
