About the Position

As an Income Maintenance Caseworker II, you will be responsible for determining initial eligibility for various income maintenance programs, including Medicaid, Refugee Assistance, and Low Income Subsidy.
Responsibilities:
- Determining initial eligibility for income maintenance programs
- Interviewing clients to obtain required information
- Completing initial applications and verifying information
- Determining program requirements and options for clients
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field, Business or Communication; or 2-year associate degree from a community college; or 1 year experience as a caseworker with direct client contact
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with applicants/clients and other agencies
