General Responsibilities Include
- Answering high volume telephone calls
- Troubleshooting customer issues
- Speaking with customers in reference to abuse issues / policy violations
- Corresponding with customers in reference to service issues
- Answering Billing questions
- Corresponding with customers regarding updated credit card information
- Processing monthly refund and delinquent reports
- Helping to open and sort mail
- Posting payments and processing mail files
- Making courtesy calls to customers
- Auditing accounts
- Answering emails from department email box
- Communicating with partners in reference to accounts
- Working with other PTD departments to resolve customer issues
- Other duties as assigned by manager or director
- H.S. Diploma or G.E.D.
- Established residency in Pennsylvania
- Previous Experience in Billing and/or Customer Service recommended
- Understanding of Viruses and Network Security recommended
- Familiarity with Windows Operating Systems recommended
- Familiarity with PenTeleData policies preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Possess a positive attitude
- Excellent Communication Skills - Oral and written
- Good Organizational skills
- Good Follow-up Skills
- Good Typing skills
- Ability to interact well with customers on a daily basis
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
- Ability to adapt to change and the changing needs of the company
