Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable entry-level mold assembly laborer to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to begin a career in manufacturing and mold assembly. Employees will receive hands-on training while learning how to assemble, clean, maintain, and prepare molds used in plastic injection and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and willing to learn in a fast-paced production environment. We are looking to train on 1st shift and then transition into 2nd shift.
Responsibilities
- Assemble mold components using hand and power tools.
- Clean, inspect, and prepare molds for production use.
- Read and follow basic blueprints, prints, and work instructions.
- Inspect parts and molds for quality and accuracy.
- Assist with mold maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
Experience
No prior experience required, on-the-job training provided, but basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn is a must.
- Ability to use hand tools and measuring devices.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to stand, lift, bend, and work in a manufacturing environment.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
