What you will do
- Maintain hazard logs, registers, and tracking systems
- Support hazard management from identification through mitigation and closure
- Administer the Employee Safety Reporting Program, including intake, tracking, and follow-up
- Ensure safety reports are documented accurately, timely, and confidentially
- Classify hazards using risk frameworks and support prioritization
- Track corrective actions, monitor progress, and escalate overdue or high-risk items
- Analyze hazard and reporting data to identify trends and recurring issues
- Prepare reports, summaries, and dashboards for stakeholders
- Support audits, regulatory reviews, and compliance documentation
- Coordinate with safety, operations, maintenance, and compliance teams to resolve issues
What you bring
- 5 plus years of experience in hazard management, safety reporting, or risk analysis
- Experience in transit, transportation, or other regulated environments preferred
- Experience managing hazard logs, incident reports, or safety tracking systems
- Experience analyzing safety data and preparing reports or dashboards
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Working knowledge of safety management systems and risk mitigation practices
- Familiarity with OSHA, FTA, or similar safety frameworks
Nice to have
- Experience supporting employee safety reporting programs or similar systems
- Experience in bus, rail, or multimodal transit environments
- Certifications such as ASP, CSP, SMS or similar
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI
- Experience supporting audits or compliance programs

Compensation
$37.98 – $51.92 Hourly, depending on experience, certifications, and qualifications
