Position Information
Work Arrangement: In-office.
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. (37.5 hours per week).
Hourly Wage: $22–$26 per hour.
Position Status: Permanent, full‑time, non‑supervisory.
Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for extended periods; ability to lift/move file boxes as needed.

Essential Responsibilities
- Process and manage end-to-end payroll activities, ensuring all employee data is accurately entered, verified, and maintained in payroll and HRIS systems.
- Assist with tax compliance by preparing payroll-related documentation and maintaining records in accordance with payroll tax regulations and governmental accounting standards.
- Support benefits administration by maintaining employee benefit records, processing enrollment changes, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with Human Resources on payroll-related inquiries and ensure employee status changes, deductions, and compensation updates are properly documented and processed.
- Perform accurate data entry and record maintenance related to payroll, benefits administration, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
- Assist accounts payable processes, including reviewing and processing vendor invoices, verifying accuracy and approvals, reconciling statements, maintaining payment records, and ensuring timely disbursement of payments.
- Assist accounts receivable activities, including preparing and issuing invoices, monitoring outstanding balances, applying payments, reconciling customer accounts, following up on past-due accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Process billing cycles for clients and vendors, generate invoices, track receivables, and assist with resolving billing discrepancies in a timely manner.
Qualifications
· Proven experience with payroll management systems and benefit administration systems.
· Proven experience with payroll management systems and benefits administration systems.
· Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including debits and credits, journal entries, general ledger accounting, and account reconciliation.
· Excellent analytical skills combined with a solid understanding of financial concepts such as client billing, accounts payable/receivable, and technical accounting practices.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
· Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate professionally across departments, including Human Resources and Finance teams.
· Associate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field required; equivalent combinations of education and relevant professional experience may also be considered.
· Demonstrated organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, maintain confidential records, and follow through on assignments independently.
· Demonstrated ability to take initiative, identify and resolve problems proactively, and work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
· Flexible, adaptable, and able to adjust to changing priorities, deadlines, and business needs while maintaining professionalism and productivity.
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
