Responsibilities

- Assist in menu planning, contributing creative ideas for seasonal dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food storage and handling practices.
- Follow food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the health and safety of all guests.
- Utilize proper knife skills for food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely meal service during peak hours.
- Participate in catering events as needed, assisting with meal preparation and serving.
- Support the dietary department by preparing meals that meet specific dietary needs when required.
Experience
- Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in fine dining or high-volume food service settings.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods is essential.
- Previous experience as a dietary aide or within a dietary department is a plus.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations is required.
- Experience in menu planning and catering services is highly desirable.
