Inside Sales Consultant

Position Overview:

We’re seeking a motivated Inside Sales Consultant to join our team and help grow the Pella brand as the top choice for window and door solutions. This role is responsible for serving as the face of the showroom - guiding customers through the entire sales process—from initial contact to delivery and post-sale support—ensuring a seamless and satisfying experience.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Assist sales consultants across residential, trade, and commercial segments

• Provide expert product solutions tailored to customer needs

• Build strong relationships with homeowners, builders, contractors, and architects

• Generate leads through networking, referrals, and showroom engagement

• Collaborate with operations and service teams to meet customer needs

• Represent Pella Gateway at events and trade shows

• Use CRM tools to manage customer interactions and follow-ups

Skills/Knowledge

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to build trust and close sales through consultative selling

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems

• Ability to read blueprints and adapt to changing priorities

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience

• Excellent problem-solving and follow-through skills

• High level of professionalism and attention to detail

• Self-motivated and able to work independently while keeping leadership informed

• Strong networking abilities and enthusiasm for meeting new people

Additional Information

• Some travel required to showrooms, home shows, and customer sites

• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
