World Languages (Spanish) Teacher – HS
Pella Christian Schools is prayerfully seeking a full-time High School Spanish Teacher for the second semester of the 2026-27 School Year.

We are seeking a qualified educator who is passionate about world language instruction and Spanish language and culture. The ideal candidate will inspire students by developing students’ proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in Spanish; integrating cultural understanding into instruction; embracing collaboration; and facilitating high-quality, student-centered learning that equips students to communicate effectively and engage thoughtfully in a global community.
Educational Requirements:
- Possess or be able to obtain an Iowa Teaching License.
- Possess or be able to obtain a Spanish Endorsement.
Individual Requirements:
- Desire to honor Christ in all teaching and learning activities.
- Demonstrate outstanding content knowledge and an understanding of the teaching and learning process.
- Establish and carry out learning objectives based on a Reformed Biblical perspective and consistent with student needs, curricular standards, and knowledge of student growth and development.
- Properly administer and utilize assessments to inform instruction.
- Improve skill and knowledge based on current trends, research, and methods in instructional techniques, technology, problem solving, and interdisciplinary connections.
- Work effectively with students, parents, administrators, colleagues, and the greater community.
- Exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills with students and colleagues.
