Pella Christian is rooted in the Reformed faith and firmly believe that God is sovereign over all areas of life and learning, including our curricular and co-curricular activities. To fulfill the PC mission, our teachers and staff are supported by the Teaching for Transformation framework and our coaches are guided by the Coaching for Transformation framework. Recent Professional Development for teachers has focused on Teaching for Transformation, Deeper Learning, Student Support Services, and peer collaboration.
We are seeking highly qualified individuals who are in full agreement with Pella Christian’s Statement of Faith. Pella Christian Grade School and Pella Christian High School are accredited by Christian Schools International (CSI). Applicants must possess or be able to obtain proper licensure/endorsements as described in the job description.

Vocational Agriculture Teacher/ FFA Advisor
Pella Christian Schools is prayerfully seeking a full-time High School Vocational Agriculture Teacher and FFA Advisor for the 2026-27 School Year.

We are seeking a qualified educator who is passionate about agricultural education and the development of leadership through FFA. The ideal candidate will inspire students by integrating hands-on vocational agriculture instruction with FFA opportunities, embrace collaboration, and facilitate high-quality, student-centered learning that equips students for success in agriculture and beyond.
Educational Requirements:
- Possess or be able to obtain an Iowa Teaching License.
- Possess or be able to obtain a Vocational Agriculture Endorsement.
Individual Requirements:
- Desire to honor Christ in all teaching and learning activities.
- Demonstrate outstanding content knowledge and an understanding of the teaching and learning process.
- Establish and carry out learning objectives based on a Reformed Biblical perspective and consistent with student needs, curricular standards, and knowledge of student growth and development.
- Properly administer and utilize assessments to inform instruction.
- Improve skill and knowledge based on current trends, research and methods in instructional techniques, technology, problem solving, and interdisciplinary connections.
- Work effectively with students, parents, administrators, colleagues, and the greater community.
- Exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills with students and colleagues.
