Pella Christian is rooted in the Reformed faith and firmly believe that God is sovereign over all areas of life and learning, including our curricular and co-curricular activities. Pella Christian Grade School and Pella Christian High School are accredited by Christian Schools International (CSI). Long Term Substitute Teacher – MS
Pella Christian Schools is prayerfully seeking a dedicated Long-Term Substitute Teacher to join the middle school faculty for the second semester of the 2026–2027 academic year.

We are currently seeking to add a qualified educator who loves to journey with middle school students, embraces collaboration, and desires to facilitate high-quality, student-centered learning.
Educational Requirements:
- Possess or be able to obtain an Iowa Teaching License or Substitute License or Authorization.
Individual Requirements:
- Desire to honor Christ in all teaching and learning activities.
- Demonstrate outstanding content knowledge and an understanding of the teaching and learning process.
- Establish and carry out learning objectives based on a Reformed Biblical perspective and consistent with student needs, curricular standards, and knowledge of student growth and development.
- Work effectively with students, parents, administrators, colleagues, and the greater community.
- Exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills with students and colleagues.
