As a DevOps Engineer, you will contribute to Pelico’s infrastructure strategy and execution to support our rapid growth. Your mission: ensure a secure, scalable, and reliable multi-cloud environment while driving automation, performance, and operational excellence. You’ll shape long-term practices and tooling, and tackle critical challenges to deliver a world-class developer experience.

You’ll shape long-term practices and tooling, and tackle critical challenges to deliver a world-class developer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Objective 1: Master & Continuously Improve DevOps Tooling & Infrastructure
- Act as an expert on Linux administration, GitLab CI, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), and other critical DevOps tools.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain and evolve the DevOps knowledge base, documentation, and methodologies to resolve recurring issues and to ensure scalability as Pelico grows.
- Improve observability, logging, and monitoring through robust tooling.
- Take ownership of on-call responsibilities, ensuring quick response and resolution of incidents.
- Be involved in customer onboarding process to provide technical guidance in configuring their environment.
- Coordinate with IT teams and ensure proper release cadence that meets their needs.
- Meet with customer representatives and end users to understand potential feature improvements, bring to the product team for prioritization, and help deliver.

Required Technical Skills
- Infrastructure & Cloud Expertise: Strong experience designing and operating complex infrastructure on AWS / GCP / Azure (multi-cloud preferred).
- DevOps & Automation Mastery: Deep knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, Ansible, GitLab CI, Helm, Kubernetes, containerization, and Infrastructure as Code practices.
- Monitoring & Reliability: Expertise with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog) and SRE methodologies.
- Scripting & Development: Proficiency in Bash, Python, or Go for automation and tooling.
- Database Experience: Proficiency in any variant of SQL.
