PARTS DRIVER - MIAMI ACURA

Job Summary:

The Parts Delivery Driver is responsible for driving to and delivering sold/invoiced parts to Wholesale customers, collecting funds, processing returns, and scouting for new clients.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Communicate with automotive body shop and wholesale facilities daily.
• Picks up and/or delivers parts to designated accounts when instructed by the parts or service departments.
• Ensure areas of the parts department are properly stocked.
• Collect funds from customers.
• Process returns of parts.
• Ensures the cleanliness of the parts department by disposing of used boxes and trash, sweeping floors and dusting parts bins daily.
• Scout for new parts buyer clients.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Required Skills & Abilities:          

• Safely maneuvering a delivery van in all traffic situations.
• Ability to work as a team player.
• Ability to perform mild lifting.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Strong communication skills and work ethic.
• Comfortable working outside.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screen (background & hair follicle drug test)

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in parts delivery or similar role.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat.
• Prolonged periods of walking on a level surface throughout the dealership
