Apartments Property Manager
$60,000 – $70,000 per year | Full-Time | On-Site
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, people-first Property Manager to lead daily operations at our residential community. You will oversee leasing, maintenance coordination, resident relations, and compliance — serving as the operational backbone of our community.

Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of leasing including tours, application processing, and presenting available units to prospective residents
- Oversee rent collection, lease renewals, and lease enforcement in compliance with Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant law
- Coordinate maintenance and facilities management using Yardi, OneSite, or similar platforms to track work orders and ensure timely resolution
- Maintain accurate records related to LIHTC, Section 8 vouchers, and other affordable housing programs
- Serve as the primary point of contact for resident inquiries, responding promptly and professionally
- Negotiate and manage vendor contracts for repairs, landscaping, security, and other property services
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws, Section 8 requirements, and local building codes
- Mediate and resolve conflicts between residents or staff to maintain a positive community atmosphere
Requirements
- Experience in property management
- Knowledge of landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations
- Proficiency in Appfolio or similar property management software; CMMS experience a plus
- Strong communication, marketing, and customer service skills
- Highly organized with solid administrative and data entry abilities
- Experience in facilities or maintenance coordination is a strong advantage
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
