Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of the auto body shop operations, including staff supervision, workflow coordination, and quality control.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance shop productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee profit and loss statements, budgeting, and financial performance to ensure the shop meets or exceeds financial targets.
- Supervise technicians and support staff, fostering a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Drive business development initiatives by cultivating relationships with insurance companies, fleet clients, and local businesses.
- Coordinate with insurance companies and customers to facilitate smooth claims processing and communication.
- Manage project timelines, prioritize repairs efficiently, and ensure adherence to safety standards and industry regulations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to optimize workflow, reduce costs, and enhance overall shop performance.
- Maintain and manage inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience within an auto body or collision repair shop environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive results.
- Experience with estimating software CCCone and Mitchell RMC.
- Experience writing estimates.
- Bilingual Preferred.
- Valid Drivers License
- Knowledge of automotive repair processes including; autobody repair, auto painting, auto glass installation and vehicle maintenance.
- Solid understanding of mechanical systems and automotive repair procedures.
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
- Demonstrated experience supervising staff and overseeing daily operations effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with clients, insurance adjusters, and vendors.
