Summary/Objectives: Utilizing hands-on accounting experience and an in-depth understanding of accounting principles and company practices, perform complex accounting activities and financial analyses. Responsible for tracking and reporting Company costs, productivity, margins and expenditures.

- Analyze complex financial reports and records
- Make recommendations based on analysis and status of reserves, assets and expenditures
- Review journal entries to ensure accuracy
- Consistent, reliable attendance and punctuality at assigned work location.
- Train and mentor accounting staff
- Perform variance analyses and prepare account reconciliations
- Assist with financial and tax audits
- Document and monitor internal controls in support of the auditing team
- Coordinate more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team or with other departments
- Assist in the completion of special projects as needed.
- Able to work and communicate effectively with all levels of co-workers and other external contacts.

Education and/or Experience:
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- Experience with Audit Preparation and Content
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience preferably in manufacturing/production environment; OR, any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in manufacturing/production
- Public Accounting experience
- Experienced with Net Suite ERP system

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk/computer. Personal Protective Equipment is required in production areas and may include, but is not limited to, safety glasses, hearing protection, and closed-toe shoes. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee may lift and/or move up to 10 pounds occasionally.
Work Environment: General office environment that is climate controlled. Will be required to visit production area occasionally and may be exposed to airborne contaminants, moving mechanical parts and vibration. Production area is not climate-controlled. The noise level may exceed permissible exposure limit and hearing protection may be required.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: Full-Time. Work Schedule: 9/80 Schedule: Monday through Friday (every other Friday off), 7:00AM – 5:00PM. May require overtime based on business needs.
Travel: No travel is expected for this position.
