What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Paralegal position at Peiffer Wolf Carr Kane Conway & Wise, LLP?
Peiffer Wolf Carr Kane Conway & Wise is a national litigation law firm that represents individuals and entities who have been the victims of fraud, negligence, or the misconduct of powerful interests. We have successfully represented tens of thousands of clients throughout the United States in multi-state and multi-district mass tort, class action, and individual lawsuits. We work tirelessly for our clients and take pride in the pursuit of justice on their behalf.
We’re looking for a Paralegal to join our dedicated teams in Mass Torts and Sexual Assault litigation. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask while working under tight deadlines. Additionally, you should be resilient, empathetic, caring, compassionate, and generally comfortable with frequent client communication.
What your average day will look like:
- Communicate with potential and engaged clients;
- Communicate with the lawyers and paralegals on your team;
- Manage client information, request documents, and review files;
- Draft and review routine legal documents;
- Calendar and docket management;
- Assist with discovery; and
- Create and maintain files in case management software.
What skills are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who is not afraid of new technology and already has a grasp of the basics: Microsoft Office, Google G-Suite, and Adobe Acrobat. Previous litigation experience and familiarity with legal case management software and Salesforce is desirable.
