Maintenance Plumber - Laredo/Del Rio, TX

About the position Responsibilities • Install and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures in various locations. • Inspect structures to identify obstructions and plan installations accordingly. • Locate and mark positions for pipes and connections using measuring tools. • Cut openings in walls and floors for pipe installation using hand and power tools. • Cut and thread pipes using appropriate tools and techniques. • Perform maintenance and repair on plumbing fixtures and systems, including steam and sewage systems. • Evaluate drain conditions using plumbing cable mounted cameras. • Operate drain snakes to restore proper functioning of drain systems. • Respond to afterhours emergency calls as needed. Requirements • High School Diploma or equivalent GED. • Minimum of three years' experience as a journeyman plumber. • Valid Texas Driver's License with a clean driving record. • Experience with high-pressure piping systems and equipment. • Ability to install, repair, and maintain various utility systems and equipment. • Ability to interpret and apply building plans and blueprints. • Experience in responding to and completing repairs on work orders.
