Quality Control / Safety Manager – Omaha/Lincoln, Nebraska
Summary:
The Quality Control / Safety Manager is responsible for:
Reporting Directly to Corporate QC Safety Director, with technical direction provided by the local Project Manager
Supervising and monitoring QC staff and QC Program processes and activities.
Overseeing the implementation of a quality control system (QCS)
Utilizing iAuditor as the primary means of QC documentation and providing that information to the Servicer Order Dispatcher for further posting to NCMMS
Continually reviewing and revising (annually or as needed) the QCS to meet contract objectives and to maintain the effectiveness of the plan.
Reviewing and approving Quality Control Plans.
Advising on Quality, certification and acceptance criteria for material purchase, specialist packages and services.
Following up on all open Corrective Action Reports and ensuring they are properly closed out.
Monitoring and conducting staff safety training as scheduled
This is a Full-time Exempt position which requires travel in and around the Omaha and Lincoln Nebraska areas.
Experience Required:
At least 2 years of experience managing and implementing a quality control/ Safety system for mechanical maintenance and administration of government facilities. Formal education related to quality or safety can be substituted for experience.
Service inspected should include full facilities maintenance, energy management, custodial, grounds and tenant support services.
Education and Certifications Desired:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction or quality/safety field preferred.
Six (6) Sigma Green belt and/or executing an ISO certified quality/safety system desired.
OSHA 40 Safety Certification and 40-Hour HAZWOPER training course preferred.
Other Requirements:
Must pass a government background check and be able to maintain facility access.
Must have a valid state drivers license and a clean driving record.
Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
Must be able to work independently and with a team.
A background check and drug screen will be conducted for this position.
