PEG Staffing & Recruiting is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Business Analyst for our prestigious client located in St. Louis County, MO, with hybrid opportunity after training. This role is a temp to hire role. You’ll analyze financial and operational data, build forecasting models, and deliver insights to improve efficiency, cost control, and profitability—while supporting leadership with clear reporting and strategic recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver strategic recommendations to improve financial performance
- Develop and maintain demand forecasts and operating models using FP&A tools
- Analyze sales, expenses, margins, and inventory to support planning and decision-making
- Prepare variance analyses and ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance across the organization
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or Finance (Master’s preferred)
- 5 years in business planning, financial analysis, or related field
- Experience with Business Central or similar software required
- Preferred certifications: FPAC, CFP, CPA, or Financial Modeling
- Strong grasp of financial statements and operational metrics
- Proven ability to generate insights and collaborate with leadership
- Excellent analytical, communication, and critical thinking skills
