PeerSource is currently recruiting for a Pricing Manager (Banking) on a Direct Hire basis. This role is based out of either New Orleans LA, or Gulfport MS.
Summary
This critical role drives the strategic direction and execution of consumer and business product lines for a regional financial institution. The Product & Pricing Manager leverages advanced analytics to guide pricing strategy, monitor performance, and identify trends and opportunities. Success in this role requires hands-on technical skills, cross-functional leadership, and an understanding of how pricing impacts revenue, growth, and market competitiveness.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute pricing and product strategies aligned with organizational objectives and market dynamics.
- Analyze internal and external data to monitor trends, identify revenue opportunities, and assess pricing competitiveness.
- Build and manage reporting frameworks and recurring performance analysis using SQL, R, and Excel.
- Lead forecasting, budgeting, and KPI tracking for assigned product lines.
- Collaborate with marketing, retail, compliance, and technology teams to deliver integrated product strategies.
- Guide cross-functional initiatives related to product enhancements, launches, or sunsetting based on customer needs and competitive research.
- Optimize product profitability, balances, and margins through data-driven pricing decisions.
- Oversee vendor relationships, manage contracts, and negotiate renewals to support strategic goals.
- Contribute to merger and acquisition product mapping and support regulatory compliance and audit functions.
Required Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in product & pricing management within the banking or financial services sector, with a focus on forecasting and modeling.
- Experience with product lifecycle management, pricing optimization, and customer segmentation.
- Strong proficiency in SQL Server Management Studio, R Studio, and advanced Excel for data extraction, modeling, and reporting.
- Proven ability to collaborate across business units and manage multiple initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Deep understanding of banking products, interest rate strategy, and regulatory considerations ideal.
