Job Overview
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented UX/UI Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing intuitive, user-friendly digital experiences from concept through development handoff. You will work closely with stakeholders, developers, and cross-functional teams to create wireframes, prototypes, and user-centered design solutions that align with business goals and accessibility standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage UX/UI design activities from requirements gathering through testing, validation, and final handoff to development teams.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design concepts, workflows, and functionality.
- Conduct user research and develop deliverables such as personas, journey maps, interview guides, and research findings.
- Perform usability testing and use insights to improve design decisions and user experience.
- Translate user needs, business requirements, and data insights into effective design solutions.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs into functional applications.
- Modify or write basic JavaScript as needed to address UI-related challenges.
- Maintain design documentation using tools such as SharePoint, Jira, or similar platforms.
- Contribute to UX/UI style guides and design libraries to support consistency across projects.
- Stay updated on industry trends in responsive design, mobile design, accessibility, and modern web technologies.
Required Skills
- 4 years of experience in UX/UI design for digital products or applications
- 4 years of experience in user research and creating UX deliverables such as personas, user journeys, and research documentation
- Hands-on experience with design and prototyping tools such as:
- Figma
- Sketch
- InVision
- Adobe XD
- Strong understanding of:
- HTML5
- CSS3
- JavaScript
- Bootstrap
- Experience with tools such as Mural, Lucidchart, MS Visio, Visual Studio, or Axure RP
- Good understanding of Human-Centered Design principles
- Knowledge of accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.0 / 2.1
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing responsive and mobile-friendly applications
- Ability to work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience contributing to or maintaining design systems and component libraries
