SUMMARY The essential job function involves assisting with various projects around the Peak, including operating machinery, landscaping, and working with electricians, contractors, golf course employees, hotel staff, and performing other maintenance tasks as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
• Inspect and maintain lifts before operating them.
• Operate lifts and identify any potential issues.
• Landscape, mow, and trim slopes, as well as trim trees and bushes.
• Assist with snowmaking preparation, including installing electric lines and hill lights.
• Assist with tree cutting and lot preparation.
• Participate in hand raking, seeding, building flower beds, and planting trees and shrubs.
• Dig footers and foundations, and help install water and sewer lines.
• Work with the construction crew when necessary.
• Work with the golf course team as needed.
• Collaborate with electricians and other contractors.
• Cross-train and assist at the hotel as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• Some mechanical knowledge or experience is required.
• Working knowledge of tools, equipment, and supplies used in comprehensive building maintenance services.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively, handling a wide variety of duties ranging from electrical work to landscaping and mechanical tasks.
• Must be open and flexible to new tasks; there is no set list of duties, as tasks vary.
• Ability to identify problems and implement solutions.
• Ability to work independently in the absence of supervision.
• Ability to understand and follow both oral and written instructions.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with co-workers, contractors, and other personnel.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
• High School diploma or GED equivalent; vocational school training is preferred.

• None required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. • Must be physically capable of lifting up to 100 pounds to waist height and working at heights, including on lifts.
• Manual dexterity is required—ability to quickly move hands together with arms, and manipulate or assemble products.
• Ability to perform precise movements, including grasping, manipulating, or assembling small objects.
• Must be able to visualize how objects or parts will appear when moved or rearranged.
• Requires considerable use of arms, legs, and the whole body, such as climbing heights of over 8 feet.
• Ability to maneuver, position, or adjust materials.
• Responsible for servicing, repairing, adjusting, and testing machines, devices, moving parts, and equipment throughout the property.
• May be exposed to outdoor elements for extended periods of time.
