Clinical Supervisor - LCSW, Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Duties

• Provide clinical supervision to licensed clinicians and support staff, ensuring adherence to professional standards and organizational policies.
• Oversee intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning for diverse populations, including children and adults.
• Lead and provide oversight for individual and group therapy sessions utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
• Manage crisis intervention efforts, including de-escalation techniques for clients experiencing acute mental health or behavioral crises.
• Coordinate care plans with home, community, hospital, and school-based providers to ensure seamless patient-centered care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in electronic medical record (EMR) systems while complying with HIPAA regulations and safeguarding patient confidentiality.
• Conduct regular case reviews, data collection, and performance evaluations to monitor treatment outcomes and improve service quality.
• Supervise clinical staff in documentation practices related to medical records, patient assessments, intake procedures, and progress notes.
• Lead training sessions on topics such as trauma-informed care for PTSD, anxiety, depression, and ADHD care to enhance team expertise.
• Promote a positive team culture through leadership that encourages professional development, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Experience

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with current state licensure in PA required.
• Proven experience in behavioral health settings involving child & family counseling, crisis management, and mental health counseling.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience overseeing clinical teams within outpatient clinics or community-based programs.
• Extensive knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques including applied behavior analysis (ABA), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and motivational interviewing.
• Hands-on experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), PTSD, or addiction issues, highly desirable.
• Familiarity with hospital environments or home & community care settings is preferred.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical documentation standards, EMR systems integration, and HIPAA compliance.
• Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations while managing complex cases effectively.
