What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) position at Pediatric Haven Therapy Solutions?
Pediatric Haven Therapy Solutions is looking for Full- Time – Registered Behavioral Tech (RBT) to care for Autism and medically complex children. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Located on site at the center serving full-time Maintain the following records:
¨ Provide 1:1 ABA therapy services directly to children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other developmental disorders
¨ Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan
¨ Implement behavior-reduction plans and individualize instructional programs developed by the supervision Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
¨ Provide regular written and verbal progress updates on treatment goals
¨ Participate in team meetings and training workshops
¨ Support the BCBA with training families on implementing individualized treatment plans.
¨ Ensure that the patient is in a safe and positive environment at all times.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Certified as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board or associates degree in behavioral health or related field.
- 1 year of experience preferred working with children and/ or adolescents in a care-take, mentoring, therapeutic or teaching capacity.
- 1 year of experience preferred working with children with behavior problems or medically complex
- Must be CPR certified
- Strong critical thinking and collaboration skills, take initiative, are passionate about helping children, and are open to continually learn are the best candidate.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
