Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – Full-Time

90-Day Path to Salaried Position | Benefits | Professional Growth

Looking for more than just your next hourly job? Build a career in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with a team that will support your growth.

We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our team and work directly with children with autism and other developmental needs. Our RBTs play an important role in helping children develop communication, social, play, independence, and daily living skills. You will work closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) who provide ongoing supervision, coaching, and clinical support. Whether you are an experienced RBT or are early in your career and looking for an opportunity to grow within the field of ABA, we are looking for team members who are eager to learn, open to feedback, and passionate about helping children succeed.

This position begins as an hourly position during a 90-day introductory period. Following successful completion of the 90-day period, eligible full-time employees transition to a salaried RBT position, providing increased consistency and stability in compensation.

Why Join Our Team?

We want our RBTs to feel supported, valued, and equipped to be successful.

What we offer:

  • Clear pathway from hourly to salaried employment after successful completion of the 90-day introductory period
  • Health insurance
  • Dental insurance
  • Vision insurance
  • 401(k) with company matching
  • Paid time off
  • Paid holidays
  • Ongoing BCBA supervision, coaching, and clinical support
  • Professional development and opportunities to strengthen your ABA skills
  • Opportunities for advancement as you gain experience
  • Collaborative team environment
  • Meaningful work where you can see the progress you help create

What You'll Do

  • As an RBT, you will work one-on-one and collaboratively with clients to implement individualized treatment programs developed and supervised by a BCBA.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Implementing ABA treatment programs designed to increase communication, social, play, self-help, and other important life skills
  • Teaching new skills through structured activities and natural play-based opportunities
  • Supporting clients in developing greater independence with daily living skills
  • Using positive reinforcement and other evidence-based ABA strategies to encourage appropriate behavior
  • Collecting accurate data on client progress during treatment sessions
  • Completing session documentation in accordance with clinical and payer requirements
  • Following individualized behavior support and safety procedures
  • Communicating professionally with BCBAs, other RBTs, caregivers, and members of the treatment team
  • Participating in ongoing supervision, training, and performance feedback
  • Maintaining client confidentiality and following HIPAA requirements

What We're Looking For

The most successful RBTs are not simply people who already know everything about ABA. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, teachable, engaged, and willing to grow.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work professionally and compassionately with children
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to follow clinical instructions and accept feedback from supervisors
  • Ability to collect data and complete documentation accurately
  • Commitment to maintaining client dignity, confidentiality, and safety
  • Ability to meet all employment, background screening, and credentialing requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential but not required – Training path toward RBT certification provided
  • Previous experience working with children
  • Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities
  • Experience in ABA, education, childcare, special education, psychology, behavioral health, or a related field

Previous ABA experience is helpful, but we also value individuals with strong potential, professionalism, and a willingness to learn.

What Makes This Opportunity Different?

Working as an RBT can be both incredibly rewarding and challenging. We believe RBTs perform their best when they have strong supervision, clear expectations, professional development, and opportunities to grow. Our BCBAs work closely with RBTs to provide feedback, answer questions, problem-solve challenging situations, and help team members continue developing their clinical skills.

Compensation

Starting Pay During 90-Day Introductory Period:

$10.00–$15.00 per hour

After 90 Days:

Following successful completion of the introductory period, eligible full-time RBTs transition to a salaried position to 31,000 to 34,000 depending on experience level.
