What You'll Do
As a Special Education Assistant, you will be a vital part of a student's success. You will work closely with teachers and students to create a supportive learning experience by:
Assisting teachers in maintaining a structured and engaging classroom environment.
Providing one-on-one or small-group tutoring to reinforce learning.
Helping distribute and collect materials to ensure smooth classroom operations.
Offering students encouragement, emotional support, and guidance.
Monitoring student activities to ensure a safe and productive space.
Collaborating with teachers to adapt programs and materials to meet student needs.
Attending team meetings and training sessions to grow your skills.
