Duties
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales
- Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide product information to enhance their shopping experience
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when responding to customer inquiries or coordinating with team members
Experience
- Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred
- Supervising experience is a plus, especially in overseeing team members or training new staff
- Strong communication skills and friendly demeanor to engage with customers confidently
- Experience in customer service roles that require active listening and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
