Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service to enhance their overall experience
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Manage customer orders in food service environments, ensuring correct customization and timely delivery
• Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and give accurate change using basic math skills
• Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the workspace
• Upsell menu items or products to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
• Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to food safety management practices, sanitation protocols, and kitchen cleanliness standards
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during food preparation or service times
• Support food handling procedures in compliance with health regulations to ensure safe consumption for all customers
• Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating with colleagues in serving customers and managing food orders

Experience

• Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred
• Demonstrated ability in cashiering, retail sales transactions, or food service customer order management
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
• Experience operating kitchen equipment safely and maintaining sanitation standards in a food industry setting
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell products confidently and courteously
• Basic math proficiency for processing cash transactions accurately
