Assembly/Industrial Automotive Painter Job Description - THIRD SHIFT
MUST HAVE Requirements:
- Able to operate Automotive airless spray system and use all body shop equipment properly and safely.
- Tape off parts correctly that are not to be painted.
- Able to mix multiple colors of automotive paint & primer.
- Able to spray primer & automotive paint with airless spray gun system.
- Able to inspect parts for dents and rust before spraying primer & Automotive paint with airless spray gun and without any runs or sags and good finish on all parts.
- Maintain tools and keep airless paint system equipment clean and in good working conditions.
- Maintains and wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including respirator in a manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer.
- Complies with all laws and regulations pertaining to primer, Automotive paint, thinner and other hazardous material and report any deviation to supervisor.
- Must have a positive work ethic and willing to be a team player.
- Able to keep work habits assessed.
Additional Skills:
- Able to use overhead cranes with proper chains/straps/shackles/s-hooks to bring parts in and out of paint booth.
- Able to use fork truck to bring parts in and out of paint booth.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
