Job Summary
Pedal Power is seeking a cashier / general salesfloor help to join our Middletown team for the summer season. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, an enthusiasm for cycling and previous experience in a retail setting. Experience in a bicycle shop is a plus but not required.
Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Ring out sales and repairs.
- Read repair notes to customers.
- Move bikes; help customers load bicycles into vehicles.
- Clean and maintain salesfloor. Sweep, mop, dust and clean as needed.
- Greet customers.
- Answer phones.
Requirements
- Comfortable interacting with customers.
- Previous retail / customer service experience a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members .
- Ability to take direction.
- Weekend availability required.
- Have a positive attitude.
