We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to join our growing manufacturing team. This position plays a critical role in producing life-saving medical devices while ensuring products meet strict quality and regulatory requirements.

Position Summary

The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for assembling, inspecting, testing, and documenting medical devices according to approved procedures and quality standards. This individual will work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to support production activities and continuous process improvements.

The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, has excellent attention to detail, and takes pride in producing high-quality products that directly impact patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble medical devices following approved work instructions and manufacturing procedures.
  • Operate manufacturing equipment, tools, and fixtures safely and efficiently.
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections to verify product quality.
  • Complete production documentation accurately in accordance with FDA Quality System Regulations and company procedures.
  • Maintain cleanroom and controlled manufacturing environments following established protocols.
  • Assist with device testing, packaging, labeling, and final product preparation.
  • Identify and report manufacturing issues, nonconformances, or opportunities for process improvement.
  • Participate in equipment setup, preventive maintenance, and calibration activities as required.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of production materials and components.
  • Support Engineering with prototype builds, process validations, and design transfer activities.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications Required

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2 years of manufacturing or assembly experience.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems).
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Preferred

  • Associate degree or technical certification.
  • Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, aerospace, or other regulated manufacturing industries.
  • Experience working in regulated environments.
  • Experience working in a cleanroom.
  • Familiarity with precision assembly techniques and inspection equipment.
  • Experience using microscopes, calipers, or other precision measuring tools.
