As we continue to grow, we're seeking a motivated Landscaping Crew Leader to join and lead one of our hardworking crews.
Job Summary
As a Landscaping Crew Leader, you'll be responsible for supervising a team of 2–5 crew members on daily landscaping projects, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You'll work hands-on in the field while managing workflow, materials, and communication between your team and management.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a landscaping crew on daily job sites
- Read and interpret job plans and instructions
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.)
- Install sod, plants, mulch, hardscapes, and irrigation systems
- Ensure safety standards and company procedures are followed
- Communicate progress and issues with the project manager
- Provide on-site training and mentorship to crew members
- Track hours and material usage for job costing
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of landscaping experience, including leadership roles
- Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus) and clean driving record
- Ability to read site plans and operate various landscaping tools
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
