Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a crew of landscaping and maintenance staff, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality project execution
- Operate trucks and equipment safely to transport tools, materials, and crew members to job sites
- Oversee landscape maintenance activities including mowing, trimming, planting, pruning, irrigation system installation and repair, and general gardening tasks
- Coordinate daily schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during operations and maintain a safe work environment
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand project requirements and provide updates on job status
- Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance to ensure optimal performance
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscaping, lawn care, horticulture or related fields with a strong knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques
- Supervising or leadership experience in outdoor or construction environments
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate trucks and trailers safely
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, tree care, gardening practices, and general maintenance procedures
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills for supervising team members and interacting with clients
