In-Room Dining Server (Full Time)

The In-Room Dining Server provides efficient food and beverage service to hotel guests in their rooms and to the residences.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assemble entrée, beverage, condiments, glassware and silverware on cart carefully to minimize spilling and shifting.
• Perform all side work duties as assigned on daily side work form.
• Carry orders on trays, push carts or drive EZ-Go carts in order to deliver food quickly.
• Prepare and deliver amenities daily.
• Deliver ice to guest rooms upon request.
• Set-up and clean-up after hospitality functions and bars in guest rooms as needed.
• Assist guest with pouring coffee and uncorking wine.
• Pick-up dirty dishes from the guest room. Remove dirty dishes from tray and bus used items in kitchen.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Know the location of all rooms and town houses, as well as the best route for deliveries.
• Report any problems to management, to ensure guest satisfaction and the protection of company property.
• Answer telephone and record food and beverage orders.
• Knows models and integrates Pebble Beach Company culture (mission, values, and standards).
• Comply with the Pebble Beach Company safety and health policies and procedures.

Absolutely Required Skills:

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to carry trays and push carts over uneven ground and for long distances, quickly and without spilling contents.
• Basic math and good organizational skills are required.
• Clear and polite manner communication skills are required.
• Ability to understand directions and communicate with supervisor and co-workers.
• Food safety and TIPS certifications.
• 21 years of age or older to bartend.
• Ability to work a varied and flexible shift.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
