The HRIS Specialist manages the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) (UKG) within the Human Resources department. This role involves maintaining employee records, supporting and automating current HR processes, generating reports, troubleshooting system issues, and training users to optimize the HR system's efficiency and functionality. This role works closely with both Payroll and IT teams. In addition, the HRIS Specialist will help lead employee engagement by creating, implementing, and enriching employee experiences while working closely with the Senior Communications Manager.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Data Management:
- Maintaining and updating employee information within the HRIS system, including personal details, job information, compensation, and benefits.
System Administration:
- Configuring and customizing the HRIS to meet organizational needs, implementing updates, and troubleshooting technical issues.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Generating reports and analyzing data to identify trends, support HR decision-making, and ensure compliance with regulations.
User Support:
- Providing training and support to HR staff and PBC employees on how to effectively use the HRIS system.
Collaboration:
- Working with HR and IT teams to ensure the HRIS integrates with other systems and supports organizational goals.
- Collaborate with employees to ensure best and enhanced user experience.
Compliance:
- Ensuring the HRIS system and processes comply with relevant laws and regulations.
Project Management:
- Ability to manage projects related to system upgrades, implementations, process improvements, and employee events.
Adaptability:
- Ability to adapt and willingness to learn new technologies and systems.
Employee Engagement:
- Assist with developing and implementation of creative, unique and engaging employee events.
- Assist with developing and maintaining employee recognition tools and processes.
- Assist with creating and implementing content for Pebble Beach Company.
- Assist with creating instructional material for systems processes.
Required Skills:
Strong technical skills
- Knowledge and understanding of HRIS Systems, particularly UKG.
- Strong understanding of data management and reporting.
Strong analytical skills
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends and form conclusions (Metrics, KPI’s).
Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to trouble shoot and find solutions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of PBC employees.
- Ability to train employees on system through written or verbal material.

- Ability to effectively collaborate with all levels and divisions of the organization.
Strong creative skills
- Knowledge of InDesign, Publisher, Photo Shop, Adobe Acrobat and other content creation tools.
- Proven knowledge and skills in content and company collateral creation.
Strong attention to detail skills

Desired Skills:
- Bilingual in Spanish (verbal and written) preferred.
- Experience in hospitality industry.
- Ability to think strategically and conceptually.
- Knowledge of Human Resource disciplines, processes and policies.
