PRIMARY FUNCTION: Serves in the capacity of a substitute teacher in the absence of the media specialist. |
REQUIREMENTS:

1. |
Educational Level: Bachelor Degree required; Master Degree preferred |
|
2. |
Certification/License Required: None; Georgia Library Media Specialist Certification preferred |
|
3. |
Experience: 1 year experience in a media center or classroom preferred |
|
4. |
Physical Activities: Routine physical activities that are required to fulfill job responsibilities |
|
5. |
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Written and oral communication, student management, basic technology skills |

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Complies with copyright laws. |

Maintains and submits required records. |

Collaborates with teachers and students in materials production. |

Performs other duties as assigned by appropriate administrator and designated media staff. |
