Responsibilities
Job Description
- Maximize commercial inventory by managing the spots ordered by the sales team.
- Maintain and manage inventory for the network in current and future weeks.
- Edit/manipulate logs for the network by placing commercials based on information provided by agencies and sales.
- Partner closely with ad sales team to reduce liability and to stay on pace with budget.
- Be able to communicate inventory needs and availability for sales and sales planning.
- Resolve any conflicts and issues that advertisers have by suggesting network specific solutions.
- Ensure all spots and program media are ready to air by working with copy, program operations, and master control.
- Subject matter expert for this position’s network.
- Share new methodologies and efficiencies with other team members.
- Back up other log team members in their absence.
- Work with inventory team for inventory needs.
- Become familiar with other network’s idiosyncrasies.
- Understand the relationship between the two sales entities to maximize revenue.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education & Experience
- 3-5 years of log experience.
- Previous experience with any traffic systems required. WideOrbit Network, WO Traffic, or WO Radio is preferred.
- Must demonstrate a clear understanding of traffic.
- Proficiency with MS Office products required.
- Attention to detail.
- Good written and oral communications skills.
- Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Be able to work collaboratively in a team environment and work independently on projects.
