Role Overview
The Girls Competitive Program Coordinator is responsible for the delivery, management, and development of the club’s Girls Competitive pathway, covering all age groups within the Select, Elite, and Premier levels.
The role ensures that all teams, players, and coaches within the Girls Competitive pillar operate in alignment with the club’s methodology, standards, and developmental expectations as defined by the Program Director and Director of Coaching & Methodology.
The Girls Competitive Program Coordinator leads the day-to-day execution of the program, including coaching oversight, player development, team formation, and competition planning, while working closely with the Programs Director to ensure operational consistency across all teams.
In addition to leadership responsibilities, the Girls Competitive Program Coordinator will serve as Head Coach for a minimum of two (2) teams within the pathway, maintaining direct involvement in player development and setting the standard for coaching delivery across the program.
This is a full-time position requiring a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and occasional travel.
Key Responsibilities
1. Coaching Leadership & Staff Management
- Lead, manage, and support all coaches within the Girls Competitive pathway
- Conduct regular coaching observations and provide structured feedback
- Ensure consistent implementation of the club’s methodology across all teams
- Support coach development in collaboration with the Programs Director and Director of Coaching & Methodology
- Contribute to recruitment, selection, and evaluation of coaching staff
2. Player Development & Pathway Management
- Oversee player development across all Girls Competitive teams
- Monitor progression across Select, Elite, and Premier levels
- Support player movement within the pathway based on development needs
- Collaborate with Programs Director and Director of Coaching & Methodology on development benchmarks and reviews
3. Team Formation & Talent Oversight
- Lead team formation processes across all age groups
- Support and oversee player evaluation and selection within the Girls Competitive pathway
- Ensure alignment between team placement and player development objectives
4. Competition & Development Environment
- Oversee competition schedules in alignment with development priorities
- Ensure appropriate competitive environments across all levels
- Support coaches in balancing development and performance
- Maintain consistent standards of behavior, professionalism, and identity
5. Operations & Administration (Competitive)
- Work closely with the Programs Director to ensure:
- Accurate team rostering
- Schedule alignment
- League and competition registration compliance
- Provide oversight to ensure all administrative processes are completed accurately and on time
- Maintain clear communication with coaches, team managers, and families
6. Strategic Contribution
- Support the ongoing development of the Girls Competitive pathway
- Contribute to player retention and recruitment strategies
- Assist in strengthening the overall structure and identity of the club
7. Coaching Responsibilities
- Serve as Head Coach for a minimum of two (2) teams within the Girls Competitive pathway
- Plan and deliver high-quality training sessions aligned with the club’s methodology
- Lead matchday coaching, preparation, and review
- Demonstrate best practice in coaching delivery across the program
- Integrate individual player development within the team environment

Qualifications
- USSF “C” License minimum (or foreign equivalent)
- Experience in youth development and team management
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple teams and staff effectively
- Strong organizational and planning ability
Preferred
- USSF “B” License (or foreign equivalent) or higher
- Experience within competitive youth soccer environments
- Background in player development systems
