What are the responsibilities and job description for the LICENSED TECHNICIAN position at PEAKS ISLAND FUEL?
Small company seeking Part time/Full time help!
We are a small team on Peaks Island servicing Island residents from home heating to propane appliances, heat pumps, generac generators and fuel delivery. We are looking to expand our team of Licensed technicians to aid with the variety of services we offer. We are also looking for Fuel Delivery Drivers.
Hours of operation are M-F 9-5 (with on call services over the weekends).
We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, has an eye for detail, who can be professional and reliable.
We would like to start someone on a Part Time Trial basis to see if they are a good fit and will hire to a full time position for the right candidate.
RESPONSIBILITES:
-Be able to diagnose and service Oil Boilers and Furnaces
-Be able to service propane appliances and perform gas checks
-Perform inspections and report any code violations if found
-Perform Annual tune ups / cleanings
-Document all service performed clearly and concisely for invoicing purposes
-Assist with Installs, replacements or upgrades
REQUIREMENTS:
-Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
-Maine Journeyman's or Masters license in Oil
-Maine Propane technicians License
-References for past work experience
EXTRAS
-CDL Class A or B with Tanker or Hazmat Endorsements
-HVAC certification: EPA
-Generac licensed Installer credentials
