Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical and cognitive abilities to identify areas of strength and weakness
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to promote independence, safety, and well-being
- Implement occupationally-based interventions, such as adaptive equipment training, memory exercises, and education on daily living skills
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and timely records of patient care and progress
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Minimum of 0 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current licensure in the state of New Mexico
