As a Full-Time Occupational Therapist, you will assess, plan, and implement individualized occupational therapy programs for our residents. Your expertise will help restore functional abilities, promote independence, and improve overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of residents' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans to achieve identified goals
- Implement and modify occupational therapy programs to promote independence, mobility, and cognitive function
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care and address resident needs
- Educate residents, families, and caregivers on adaptive techniques, safety measures, and strategies to promote independence
- Document resident progress, goals, and treatment plans in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (OT) from an accredited program
- Current licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state of Kansas
- Minimum 0 years of experience in a SNF or long-term care setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members
