· Utilize computers and machine controls to set-up workpiece.

· Follow instructions from order, print or program to complete setup and run workpiece.

· Inspect all inserts on comparitor to 20:1 overlay.

· Inspect samples for chips.

· Uses calibrated equipment to verify measuring devices.

· Remove capacity from “Capacity Planning Program” upon completion of work order.

· Assemble Insert heads.

· Change wheels regularly to ensure optimum machining conditions.

· Maintain schedule integrity.

· Perform required daily maintenance on equipment.

· Keep machine and work area clean and organized.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

· Good math skills

· Ability to read blueprints

· Computer knowledge helpful

· Good organizational and communication skills
