This is an entry level position, position saw grinder 1 is to lean and run multiple machine to sharpen Carbide saw blades

Essential Functions

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Complies with safety and corporate guidelines on business ethics.

Run and inspection saw blades as they are sharpened to print requirements

Maintain equipment, general PM’s clean grease and change cutting wheels etc. As required

Maintain proper flow of material through the production area.

Keep track of all required paperwork

Notify team member of material shortages

Responsible for housekeeping in work area and follow 6S requirements

Complies with safety and corporate guidelines on business ethics.

Strong understanding of general equipment and operations.

Ability to lean and comprehend complex machine setups

Ability to read blueprints and take measurements with calipers and other measuring devices

Ability to work in a fast pace environment
