Position Overview
Peak Roofing Partners is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team in Plantation, FL. This role will play a critical part in managing the company’s financial reporting, ensuring accuracy across multiple entities, and supporting the accounting function during a period of rapid growth. The ideal candidate has strong accounting fundamentals, experience in multi-entity environments, and thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes
- Maintain general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial data across multiple entities
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Support external audits and coordinate with auditors
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Partner with leadership to provide financial insights and reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 4–7 years of accounting experience (public accounting or multi-entity experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)
- Advanced Excel skills
- High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Experience
- Experience in construction, home services, or a multi-location business
- CPA or CPA-eligible is a plus
- Experience working in a private equity-backed or high-growth company
