- Prepare individual and business tax returns accurately and on time
- Provide tax planning and strategy support alongside financial advisors
- Familiarity with tax prep software (we use Drake)
- Help clients understand their tax liabilities and filing obligations
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state tax regulations
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and communicate relevant updates
- Work with external accountants or legal professionals as needed
- Contribute to developing internal tax systems and improving efficiency
- Support clients during audits or tax-related inquiries
