We are searching for an experienced Service Manager to lead and grow a commercial roofing service division. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in building structure, accountability, and scalable systems within a fast-paced service environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing service operations, technicians, scheduling, estimating, and departmental profitability while driving revenue growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own the full P&L of the service division including revenue, gross margin, and cost control
• Oversee scheduling and dispatch to maximize efficiency and revenue per truck
• Lead and hold accountable service technicians and support staff
• Accurately estimate service work and develop detailed proposals/photo reports
• Improve processes, workflows, communication, and operational structure
• Ensure strong customer satisfaction, quality control, and safety compliance
• Recruit, train, and develop technicians as the department grows
What We’re Looking For:
• 3 years of experience as a Service Manager within commercial roofing
• Strong background in estimating, job costing, and profitability management
• Experience managing crews, scheduling, dispatch, and service operations
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to build accountability and improve performance
• Strong communication and customer relationship management skills
Additional Details:
• Travel: Approximately 20% travel to job sites as needed
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record
