Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Construction Administrative Assistant to join our team! The Construction Administrative Assistant supports project teams by managing documentation, coordinating communication, and ensuring that construction activities run smoothly and efficiently. This role serves as a key link between the office and field teams, helping maintain organization, accuracy, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and maintain construction documents, contracts, submittals, and RFIs (Requests for Information).
- Track project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
- Coordinate communication between contractors, subcontractors, architects, and clients.
- Assist with bidding, procurement, and change order processes.
- Ensure all project records are accurate, up to date, and properly filed.
- Support compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide general administrative support to project and site teams as needed.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2 years of experience in construction administration or a similar role preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suit, and construction/project management software (e.g. Monday.com, or similar).
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Work Environment:
- Office-based with occasional site visits.
- Fast-paced and collaborative team setting.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
