What You'll Actually Do

As an RBT, you'll work directly with clients to build skills that make a meaningful difference in their everyday lives.

Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you'll provide individualized ABA services across clinic, home, and community settings.

Your day may include:

• Teaching communication, social, play, self-help, and daily living skills
• Implementing individualized treatment and behavior-support plans
• Using both structured teaching and play-based learning opportunities
• Collecting accurate data that helps your clinical team make treatment decisions
• Supporting clients through challenging behavior while teaching meaningful replacement skills
• Finding opportunities for clients to practice skills naturally
• Communicating observations and client progress with your supervising clinician
• Collaborating professionally with caregivers and other members of the clinical team
• Participating in ongoing training, supervision, team meetings, and professional development
• Helping create an environment where clients feel safe, respected, and supported

Most importantly, you'll develop relationships with the individuals you serve and learn to recognize that sometimes small changes represent very big accomplishments.

What We're Looking For

Required

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification OR willingness and eligibility to complete the required training and obtain RBT certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to accurately collect data and follow individualized treatment protocols
• Reliability, organization, professionalism, and respect for client confidentiality
• Willingness to receive and implement feedback
• Ability to collaborate with BCBAs, BCaBAs, RBTs, caregivers, and other team members
• Ability to provide services across applicable clinic, home, and community environments in the Colorado Springs area
• Ability to stand, move, play, and actively engage with clients for extended periods

Great to Have—But Not Required

• Previous experience working with neurodivergent individuals
• Previous ABA experience
• Coursework or post-secondary education in psychology, behavior analysis, education, human services, or a related field
• Foundational knowledge of behavior analysis, learning principles, motivation, skill acquisition, or behavior reduction
