The treatment consultant will work with Dr. Antoine and clinical team members to help patients understand the value of proposed dental treatment and their investment to get the healthy and functional mouth they deserve.
Roles & Responsibilities of a Treatment Consultant
- Maintain a professional and friendly attitude towards patients and referring office teams, always
- Check in patients for their appointments
- Check out and confirm patients for their post op and next visit appointments
- Effectively communicate with clinical team members
- Present finance options and instruct patients through their insurance benefits
- Coordinate treatment with the clinical team and referring practice
- Maintain organized spreadsheets with new patient and treatment information
- Follow up with patients to see them through treatment completion
- Call and schedule new patients, gather demographic information, and create new patient charts
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, keep the schedule busy and effective
Requirements of the Treatment Consultant
- Background in administration, customer service, or finances is preferred but not required
- Confident discussing finances and treatment plans
- Pleasant and outgoing demeanor
- Clear communication with other team members and patients
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and take constructive feedback
