Summar
Provide support for Trailer Shop functions with specific responsibility of fabrication and repair of trailers and equipment.

Essential Functions
- Clean work area upon arrival.
- Inspect and perform service and repair on electrical, air systems, and brake systems.
- Use hand tools, precision instruments and power tools to accomplish tasks.
- Examine and adjust protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices.
- Raise trucks, buses, and heavy parts or equipment using hydraulic jacks or hoists.
- Attach test instruments to equipment, read dials and gauges to diagnose malfunctions.
- Inspect and verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to factory specification.
- Protect company’s value by keeping information confidential.
- Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations.
Requirements:
- 2 years truck/trailer mechanical repair experience.
- Possess standard mechanic’s tools – as required to perform assigned duties.
- Great judgement and decision making abilities
- Must be computer proficient.
- Strong organizational ability, focus on the needs of the customer.
- Can-do attitude with ability to demonstrate good judgment and decision-making skills.
- Safety conscious attitude and work practices.
- Desire to learn and continuously improve self and surroundings.
- Clean driving record and ability to maintain clean drug screens.
